Carol F. Smith

Carol Smith joined Western International Group in 2019 as a Senior Trust Officer. Carol is a Director of Western International Trust Company Limited. She has more than 35 years of experience in the offshore fiduciary services sector. During that time, she has acquired extensive knowledge in complex trusts, partnerships, mutual funds, and the regulatory framework in the Cayman Islands.
Prior to joining WIG, Carol held positions as Associate Director, Senior Associate, and Deputy Trust Manager with major international banks and trust companies in the Cayman Islands. She has also served as a director for a locally regulated trust company. In addition, Carol brings knowledge of international compliance standards, corporate governance, offshore trusts, and company structures.
